The safety of children at WCC is a top priority. All volunteers in the children’s ministry are thoroughly screened and complete background checks. In order to provide our kids with a safe but fun Sunday morning experience, please help us to follow a few simple rules.
Please stop by one of the six children’s check-in computer stations throughout the church. Four are located in the west foyer at the children’s check-in booth, one is located in the front foyer at the kiosk and the final computer is found in the hallway right outside of the nursery.
If you are a guest, a volunteer will assist you in obtaining a guest card. The person picking your child up MUST present and surrender the guest card to pick your child up at the end of service.
If you are a member of WCC or have been coming for any length of time, complete a WCC Information Update form! With some simple information, including the grade for each child in the family, the only thing you need on Sunday mornings is your phone number! Simply enter it into any computer and a name tag and receipt print for every child being checked in.
Please enter and exit the gym through the doors respectively marked and present the guest card or receipt to a greeter at the end of the service time to pick up your children. Please be patient with our greeters and leaders who should know you but still ask for receipts before releasing your children. Making your child feel welcome is only half of a greeters responsibility. Keeping them safe is the other!
